Starbucks is launching a new drink made with sweet potato, the '카스텔라 고구마 라떼', in stores across Korea from 15 September. The drink adds milk to a sauce made from roasted sweet potatoes from 무안. For dessert there is a '마롱 몽블랑 치즈 케이크' made with Korean chestnuts, and the new whole cakes can be reserved through the Starbucks app from the 21st. Goods made together by Starbucks and Peanuts also go on sale in Korean stores from the 15th. The goods are nine items in all, including a pumpkin Peanuts glass cold cup, a mug and a tote bag. Starbucks brought out its autumn seasonal drinks on 28 August, and this month it has added menu items built around sweet potato, which is in season.
