농림축산식품부 said on September 4 that it had newly chosen three places as '농촌형 워케이션' sites and would run them from this month. The new ones are 당나무물꽃마을 in 당진시, 충남; 에코왕곡마을 in 나주시, 전남광주통합특별시; and 김녕리체험마을 in 제주시, 제주. That brings the number of places doing 농촌형 워케이션 to 13 in all. 워케이션 is a word for working and resting at the same time, and 농촌형 워케이션 adds the countryside to that. On weekdays one person can get up to 50,000 won a day off the price, and from September to November they can be supported for up to five days. To apply, you sign up on a dedicated platform called 디어먼데이, book and pay, and then hand in an application form and a document proving you are employed.

You already know -까지 as 'until' with times. With a quantity it marks a ceiling instead: 5만원까지 is 'up to 50,000 won', the most you can get. Korean uses one particle for both the end of a stretch of time and the top of a range, so the noun in front tells you which reading you are in.

The conditional -(으)면 plus 되다 ('to work out') says that doing this much is sufficient — nothing further is required. It is the natural way to explain a procedure, because it tells a reader where the list of steps ends. Compare -아/어야 되다, which says the opposite: that something is required of you.
