국가데이터처가 낸 ’2026년 2분기 지역경제동향’에 따르면 전국 광공업생산은 전년 동기 대비 2.0%, 서비스업생산은 4.5%, 소매판매는 2.4% 늘었습니다. 광공업생산은 충북·광주·대구 등 8개 시도에서 증가한 반면 전남·서울·대전 등 9개 시도에서는 감소했습니다. 충북은 반도체·전자부품 생산이 70.9%, 전기장비가 61.6% 늘면서 전체 광공업생산이 27.8% 증가했습니다. 수출에서는 경기가 507억 5000만 달러, 충남이 344억 9000만 달러를 차지해 두 지역을 합친 비중이 전체 증가분의 84.7%에 달했습니다. 그러나 전국 고용률은 63.2%로 전년 동기보다 0.3%포인트 떨어졌습니다. 경기와 경북은 각각 1.1%포인트 낮아졌습니다.

According to the '2026 Second-Quarter Regional Economic Trends' released by 국가데이터처, mining and manufacturing output nationwide rose 2.0 percent from the same quarter a year earlier, service industry output rose 4.5 percent, and retail sales rose 2.4 percent. Mining and manufacturing output increased in 8 provinces and cities, including North Chungcheong, Gwangju and Daegu, while it fell in 9, including South Jeolla, Seoul and Daejeon. In North Chungcheong, semiconductor and electronic component output rose 70.9 percent and electrical equipment 61.6 percent, lifting the province's total mining and manufacturing output by 27.8 percent. In exports, Gyeonggi accounted for 50.75 billion dollars and South Chungcheong for 34.49 billion, so the two regions together came to 84.7 percent of the total increase. The national employment rate, however, was 63.2 percent, down 0.3 percentage points from the same quarter a year earlier. Gyeonggi and North Gyeongsang each fell by 1.1 percentage points.
