울산 반구대병원이 스스로 문을 닫기로 했습니다. 보건복지부는 이에 따라 8월 19일부터 ’반구대병원 환자전원보호지원단’을 만들어 운영한다고 밝혔습니다. 지원단에는 복지부와 울산광역시, 울주군, 의료기관평가인증원, 장애인 권리옹호기관 등이 참여합니다. 지원단은 8월 19일부터 1주간 집중해서 일하고, 환자들의 전원과 퇴원 상황에 따라 기간을 늘릴 계획입니다. 정신과 입원치료가 필요한 환자는 알맞은 정신의료기관으로 옮기고, 입원치료 필요성이 낮거나 돌봄이 필요한 환자는 정신건강복지센터의 사례관리와 주거·돌봄·복지 서비스로 연결합니다.

반구대병원 in Ulsan has decided to close down on its own initiative. 보건복지부 announced that, in response, it is setting up and running the '반구대병원 Patient Transfer Protection Support Team' from August 19. Taking part in the team are 복지부, Ulsan Metropolitan City, Ulju County, 의료기관평가인증원, organisations that advocate for the rights of people with disabilities, and others. The team will work intensively for one week from August 19, and plans to extend that period depending on how the patients' transfers and discharges progress. Patients who need inpatient psychiatric treatment will be moved to a suitable psychiatric medical institution, while patients whose need for inpatient treatment is low, or who need care, will be connected to case management at a community mental health centre and to housing, care and welfare services.

N에 따라 has two readings that are easy to tell apart in context. After a decision or a rule it means 'in accordance with', as in 이에 따라 (in response to this). After something that varies it means 'depending on', as in 진행 상황에 따라 (depending on how things progress). Both appear in this lesson. Do not confuse it with N에 따르면 (according to N), which introduces a source rather than a cause.

-(으)ㄹ 계획이다 states an intention that has not happened yet, and it is one of several endings Korean news uses to mark exactly how firm a future action is. 계획이다 is firmer than -(으)ㄹ 것으로 보이다 (appears likely) but softer than a plain future statement. Reading these endings carefully is how you tell a decision from a forecast — the difference matters in every policy article.
