As the weather has turned chilly, convenience stores have started selling winter snacks early. It is up to about a month earlier than in a usual year. 7-Eleven has been selling roasted sweet potatoes and fish cakes since 14 September. Emart24 has been selling roasted sweet potatoes for 2,000 won since 19 September, and it plans to bring out steamed buns in early October. GS25 will sell fish cakes at more than 5,000 stores nationwide from 1 October. Its signature fish cake costs 1,000 won.
