Baskin-Robbins is moving to raise the prices of its main ice cream products for the first time in about three years, since August 2023. The prices to be adjusted cover 46 items in all, including ice cream, drinks, desserts and cakes, with an average increase of 5.9%. A single regular rises 400 won (10.3%), from 3,900 won to 4,300 won. A family size rises 1,900 won (7.3%), from 26,000 won to 27,900 won; a pint goes from 9,800 won to 10,600 won, up 8.2%; a quart from 18,500 won to 19,900 won, up 7.6%; and a half gallon from 31,500 won to 33,900 won, also up 7.6%. For delivery-only prices, between 900 won and up to 2,200 won is added to pints, quarts and family sizes depending on the size. According to BR Korea, the cost of key raw materials and goods rose 17.7% on the previous year. The final rate of increase and the date it starts are to be decided through agreement with the franchisees' council.
