Translation
At an unstaffed ice cream shop, a customer pulled out the freezer's power plug and plugged their own phone charger into that outlet. Even after finishing charging, the customer left the shop without plugging the freezer back in. When the freezer stopped, all the ice cream inside melted. The owner put up a warning notice in the shop with images from the CCTV footage and took steps to file a criminal complaint. On October 11, the notice spread across many online communities and social media. In an earlier case, a court gave a woman in her 60s a four-month prison sentence, suspended for one year, for unplugging a freezer in the same way and melting about 500,000 won worth of products.
