The four new items go on sale on 23 September. '우리쌀누룽지스낵' (2,500 won) turns the nutty, sweet taste of nurungji — scorched rice — into a snack using Korean rice, and '우리쌀누룽지스낵김치맛' (2,500 won) adds the taste of kimchi to the same rice nurungji. '미니쌀약과' (2,500 won) makes yakgwa from Korean rice in bite-sized mini pieces so it is easy to carry and eat. '제주한라봉웨이퍼' (8,000 won), a crisp wafer filled with cream made from Jeju's hallabong citrus, launches the same day. According to the Korea Tourism Data Lab, about 12.8 million foreign tourists visited Korea through July this year, up more than 21% on the same period last year, and Seven-Eleven's own sales data showed sales to foreigners up 59% from January to August.
