당근마켓 같은 중고거래 플랫폼에서 자동차와 부동산 등 고액 자산까지 거래되면서 사기 피해도 커지고 있습니다. 경찰청이 국회에 제출한 자료에 따르면, 직거래 사기 피해액은 2021년 2573억 9000만 원에서 2025년 8740억 7000만 원으로 3.4배 넘게 늘었습니다. 주요 플랫폼 3사인 당근마켓·중고나라·번개장터의 피해구제 접수 건수도 2022년 18건에서 2025년 175건으로 9.7배가 됐습니다. 올해도 8월 말 기준 소비자 상담 접수 건수가 3664건으로, 작년 같은 기간보다 22.8% 늘었습니다. 4700만 원 상당의 차량을 거래하다가 제3자 사기에 휘말린 사례도 있었습니다. 국토교통부가 2024년 11월 주요 중고거래 플랫폼에 올라온 부동산 광고 500건을 표본 조사한 결과, 20.8%인 104건이 공인중개사법 위반 의심 광고였습니다.

As items traded on secondhand platforms such as Danggeun Market have widened to high-value assets like cars and property, the damage from fraud is also growing. According to material the National Police Agency submitted to the National Assembly, losses from direct-trade fraud rose more than 3.4 times, from 257.39 billion won in 2021 to 874.07 billion won in 2025. Applications for damage relief involving the three main platforms, Danggeun Market, Joonggonara and Bungaejangter, also grew 9.7 times, from 18 in 2022 to 175 in 2025. This year too, consumer consultations filed by the end of August numbered 3,664, up 22.8% on the same period last year. There was also a case in which someone trading a car worth about 47 million won was caught up in a third-party scam. When the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport sampled 500 property listings posted on major secondhand platforms in November 2024, 104 of them, or 20.8%, were suspected of violating the Licensed Real Estate Agents Act.
