낙석방지시설 보수와 낡은 데크 교체 공사로 통제됐던 한라산 관음사 탐방로의 삼각봉~정상 구간이 9월 24일부터 다시 열립니다. 제주도 세계유산본부는 8월 1일부터 진행한 관음사 탐방로 정비공사를 마치고 이 구간을 전면 개방한다고 9월 18일 밝혔습니다. 탐방 예약은 9월 21일 오전 9시부터 한라산 탐방예약 시스템에서 할 수 있습니다. 이번 공사에서는 훼손된 낙석방지책을 정비하고, 안전사고 위험이 있는 구간의 낡은 데크를 모두 새것으로 바꿨습니다. 재개방에 앞서 9월 15~16일 이틀 동안 공원시설팀이 현장을 찾아 안전시설과 탐방로 상태를 최종 점검했고, 세계유산본부는 9월 23일까지 현장 점검과 환경정비를 이어갈 계획입니다. 이번 정비는 지난해 세운 ’한라산국립공원 탐방로 정비계획(5개년)’에 따른 것으로, 세계유산본부는 관음사·어리목·성판악·영실·돈내코 등 5개 지구에 총 25억원을 들여 탐방로 안전 정비를 진행하고 있습니다.

The section of Hallasan's Gwaneumsa trail from Samgakbong to the summit, closed for repairs to rockfall barriers and the replacement of worn decking, reopens on 24 September. Jeju's World Heritage Office announced on 18 September that it had completed the trail repair work under way since 1 August and would fully reopen the section. Bookings can be made on the Hallasan trail reservation system from 9 a.m. on 21 September. The work repaired damaged rockfall fences and replaced all of the old decking in sections where there was a risk of accidents. Ahead of the reopening, the park facilities team inspected the safety installations and the state of the trail on site over two days, 15 and 16 September, and the office plans to continue on-site checks and maintenance until 23 September. The repairs are part of the five-year Hallasan National Park trail maintenance plan drawn up last year, under which the office is spending a total of 2.5 billion won on trail safety work in five areas: Gwaneumsa, Eorimok, Seongpanak, Yeongsil and Donnaeko.
