Translation
Haitai Confectionery is raising the prices of products under 25 brands, including 오예스, 홈런볼, 포키 and 고향만두, by an average of 7.8%. The higher-priced products will be supplied in stages from 1 October, depending on each retailer's remaining stock. Honey Butter Chip (60g) goes up 5.9%, from 1,700 won to 1,800 won. 포키 (46g) rises from 1,900 won to 2,200 won, a larger increase of 15.8%. On the other hand, 14 products under five brands including 빠새, 오사쯔 and 아이스쿨 will keep their prices and shrink in weight instead. Haitai explained that higher international oil and raw material prices have increased the burden of manufacturing and logistics costs.

-기로 하다 turns a verb into a decision: 중량을 줄이기로 했다, decided to reduce the weight. It reports what was settled, not what has already happened, so it often appears in company announcements about plans.
