한국은행이 반가운 소식을 전했습니다. 올해 4월부터 6월까지 한국의 국내총생산(GDP)이 지난 분기보다 0.6% 늘었습니다. 이 0.6%는 지난 5월에 한국은행이 예상한 수치보다 세 배나 높습니다. 일 년 전과 비교하면 3.7% 늘었습니다. 국민이 실제로 번 돈을 보여 주는 국내총소득(GDI)도 크게 늘어서, 38년 만에 가장 높은 증가율을 보였습니다. 반도체가 잘 팔리고 수출과 투자도 늘어난 덕분입니다. 한국은행은 올해 한국 경제가 3% 정도 성장할 수 있다고 밝혔습니다.
Translation
The Bank of Korea shared good news. Korea's GDP grew 0.6% from the previous quarter between April and June this year. This 0.6% figure is three times higher than what the Bank of Korea had forecast in May. Compared to a year ago, it grew by 3.7%. Real GDI, which shows the income people actually earned, also grew sharply, marking its highest growth rate in 38 years. This was thanks to strong sales of semiconductors and an increase in exports and investment. The Bank of Korea stated that Korea's economy could grow by about 3% this year.
