한국에는 ’삼복’이라는 날이 있습니다. 삼복은 초복, 중복, 말복 세 날을 말합니다. 2026년 초복은 7월 15일이고, 중복은 7월 25일, 말복은 8월 14일입니다. 삼복은 일 년 중 가장 더운 때라서, 옛날부터 이날에 몸에 좋은 음식을 먹었습니다. 대표적인 음식은 삼계탕입니다. 삼계탕은 닭 한 마리에 인삼과 찹쌀을 넣고 끓여서, 더위에 지친 몸에 힘을 줍니다. 장어덮밥이나 갈비탕, 전복 요리도 삼복에 많이 먹는 음식입니다.
Translation
In Korea, there are days called "sambok." Sambok refers to three days: chobok, jungbok, and malbok. In 2026, chobok falls on July 15, jungbok on July 25, and malbok on August 14. Sambok is considered the hottest period of the year, so since old times, people have eaten nourishing food on these days. A representative dish is samgyetang. Samgyetang is made by boiling a whole chicken with ginseng and glutinous rice, giving strength to a body worn out by the heat. Eel rice bowls, galbitang (rib soup), and abalone dishes are also foods often eaten during sambok.
