국립부여문화유산연구소가 부여 관북리유적에서 나온 백제 시대 대나무 악기 ’횡적’을 재현한 악기 3점을 부여군충남국악단에 기증했습니다. 관북리유적은 백제 사비기의 왕궁터로 알려진 곳으로, 2022년부터 2025년까지 실시한 제16차 발굴조사에서 목간 329점과 함께 이 횡적이 출토됐습니다. 출토 당시 횡적은 일부가 없어져 취구 1개와 지공 3개만 남아 있었고, 납작하게 눌린 상태였습니다. 연구소는 3차원 스캐닝과 방사선 투과 조사 등으로 유물의 형태와 내부 구조를 정밀하게 확인한 뒤, 음향 복원 연구를 거쳐 실제로 연주할 수 있는 재현 악기를 만들었습니다. 재현 악기는 취구 1개와 지공 6개를 갖추고 칠성공은 없는 형태입니다. 전체 길이는 31cm이고, 음높이는 지금의 소금보다 한 음 반 정도 높습니다.
Translation
The 국립부여문화유산연구소 has donated three recreated instruments, based on a Baekje-era bamboo flute called 횡적 unearthed at the 관북리 site in 부여, to the 부여군충남국악단. The 관북리 site is known as the palace site of Baekje's Sabi period, and the flute came out of the 16th excavation survey, carried out from 2022 to 2025, together with 329 wooden tablets. When it was unearthed, part of the flute was missing, leaving only one mouth hole and three finger holes, and it had been pressed flat. The research institute used 3D scanning and radiographic examination to establish the artefact's shape and internal structure precisely, then went through acoustic reconstruction research to build recreated instruments that can actually be played. The recreated flute has one mouth hole and six finger holes, with no seventh membrane hole. It is 31 cm long, and its pitch is about a tone and a half higher than today's 소금.

알려지다 is the passive of 알리다 (to make known), and with (으)로 in front it means to be known as. In the modifier form 알려진, it describes a noun: 왕궁터로 알려진 곳 is a place known as a palace site. Writers use it when a fact is widely accepted but the sentence does not want to assert it outright, which is exactly the tone of archaeology reporting.
