함평군이 9월 16일부터 20일까지 5일 동안 해보면 꽃무릇공원 일대에서 제27회 함평 모악산 꽃무릇축제를 엽니다. 모악산 정상에 올라 인증사진을 찍고 축제장 지정 부스에서 확인받으면 꽃무릇 기념품을 줍니다. 축제장이나 해보면에 있는 가게에서 그날 모두 1만원 넘게 쓴 사람은 영수증을 인증하고 현장 뽑기에 참여할 수 있습니다. 꽃무릇 구근을 직접 심어 보는 ’꽃무릇 프로미스데이’에 참여하면 구근과 기념품을 받습니다. 축제장과 해보면 소재지를 잇는 ’꽃무릇길 순환버스’도 운행합니다.

함평군 is holding the 27th 함평 모악산 꽃무릇 festival for five days, from 16 to 20 September, around 해보면 꽃무릇공원. If you climb to the top of 모악산, take a photo to prove it and have it checked at the designated booth at the festival site, you get a 꽃무릇 souvenir. Anyone who spends more than 10,000 won in total in one day at the festival site or at shops in 해보면 can show the receipt and join a prize draw held on the spot. If you take part in '꽃무릇 프로미스데이', where you plant a 꽃무릇 bulb yourself, you receive a bulb and a souvenir. A '꽃무릇길 순환버스' also runs, linking the festival site and the centre of 해보면.

-부터 -까지from ... to ...
부터 marks where something starts and 까지 where it ends, and the pair works for time and for place alike. Keep 부터 for starting points and 에서 for the place an action happens: 16일부터 is from the 16th, but 축제장에서 is at the festival site. Notices about events almost always open with this pair, so it is a good shape to be able to read at a glance.

-(으)면if, when
-(으)면 attaches to a stem and sets a condition: do this, and that follows. Korean uses it where English would split 'if' and 'when', so the same ending covers a real condition and a repeated situation.
