함평군에서 9월 16일 ’제27회 함평 모악산 꽃무릇축제’가 문을 열었습니다. 축제는 해보면 꽃무릇공원 일대에서 닷새 동안 이어집니다. 가을이면 이곳은 붉은 꽃무릇이 물결처럼 피어 장관을 이룹니다. 개막식에는 함평군수와 지역 주민, 관광객 등 1000여 명이 참석했습니다. 개막식에 앞서 이남오 함평군수와 내빈 50여 명은 꽃무릇공원 항아리길에서 꽃무릇을 심으며 자연환경을 지키자는 뜻을 나눴습니다. 이날은 제35회 해보면민의 날 기념식도 함께 열렸고, 공식 행사 뒤에는 가수 박현빈의 축하 공연이 이어졌습니다.

Translation

The 27th Hampyeong Moaksan Red Spider Lily Festival opened in Hampyeong County on 16 September. The festival runs for five days around the 꽃무릇 park in Haebo-myeon. In autumn the red spider lilies here bloom in waves of crimson and make a spectacular sight. About 1,000 people, including the county mayor, local residents and tourists, attended the opening ceremony. Before the ceremony, Mayor 이남오 and some 50 guests planted red spider lilies along the park's 'jar path' to express their wish to protect the natural environment. The 35th Haebo-myeon Residents' Day ceremony was held the same day, and after the official events the singer 박현빈 gave a celebratory concert.
