Dinosaur Touring Exhibition Opens August 25 at Choemuseon Science Museum in Yeongcheon

영천시는 8월 25일부터 9월 13일까지 약 3주 동안 최무선과학관 2층 창의과학체험실에서 ‘타임슬립! 공룡시대 대탐험’ 순회전시를 엽니다. 이 전시는 국립대구과학관에서 단독 관람객 7만 명을 넘어선 특별전을 다시 꾸민 것입니다. 최무선과학관은 영남권 4개 순회 기관 가운데 가장 먼저 이 전시를 엽니다. 전시장에는 설명 중심의 패널형 전시물 20종과 직접 참여할 수 있는 체험형 전시물 2종이 마련됩니다. 전시는 공룡의 몸 구조와 생활 모습, 번식과 성장 과정 등을 주제로 하고, 공룡에 대해 널리 알려진 내용 가운데 사실과 다른 부분도 함께 다룹니다.

From August 25 to September 13, about three weeks, the city of Yeongcheon will hold the touring exhibition 'Time Slip! Great Expedition to the Age of Dinosaurs' in the creative science hands-on room on the second floor of Choemuseon Science Museum. The exhibition is a reworking of a special show at Daegu National Science Museum that drew more than 70,000 visitors on its own. Choemuseon Science Museum is opening it before the other three touring venues in the Yeongnam region. The exhibition hall will have 20 kinds of panel displays centred on explanation and 2 kinds of hands-on displays that visitors can take part in directly. The exhibition covers dinosaurs' body structure, how they lived, and how they bred and grew, and it also deals with parts of what is widely believed about dinosaurs that are not actually true.
