질병관리청이 9월 30일 발표한 ’2025년 국민건강영양조사’는 전국 192개 지역의 4,800가구에서 1세 이상 가구원 약 1만 명을 대상으로 1년 내내 실시됐습니다. 남자의 비만 유병률은 49.1%로 2024년과 큰 차이가 없었지만, 30대와 50대에서는 각각 9.9%포인트, 5.9%포인트 크게 늘었습니다. 그 결과 30~50대 남자의 절반 넘게 비만이었고, 30대는 59.0%에 이르렀습니다. 여자의 비만 유병률은 28.7%로 2.5%포인트 올랐습니다. 담배제품 사용률은 20대 남자에서 3.7%포인트 늘었습니다. 유산소 신체활동 실천율은 49.5%로 떨어졌고, 특히 20대 남자는 11.2%포인트나 줄었습니다.

The '2025 Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey', released by the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency on September 30, was carried out throughout the year on about 10,000 household members aged 1 and over in 4,800 households across 192 areas nationwide. The obesity rate among men was 49.1%, not much different from 2024, but it rose sharply in men in their 30s and 50s, by 9.9 and 5.9 percentage points respectively. As a result, more than half of men in their 30s to 50s were obese, reaching 59.0% for men in their 30s. The obesity rate among women rose by 2.5 percentage points to 28.7%. The rate of tobacco product use went up in men in their 20s by 3.7 percentage points. The rate of people doing aerobic physical activity fell to 49.5%, and among men in their 20s it dropped by as much as 11.2 percentage points.
