경북 문경시는 9월 18일부터 20일까지 사흘 동안 동로면 금천둔치에서 열린 ’제22회 문경오미자축제’가 잘 마무리됐다고 9월 21일 밝혔습니다. 축제 기간 맑은 날씨가 이어져 지난해와 비슷한 6만7000여 명이 행사장을 찾았습니다. 생오미자는 1kg당 1만5000원, 오미자 당절임은 10kg당 9만원으로 지난해와 같은 특별 할인가에 팔렸습니다. 농가 특판부스를 2곳에서 6곳으로 늘려 직거래 기회를 넓히면서 모두 8억4000여만원의 판매 실적을 올렸습니다. 올해 처음 열린 문경오미자 품평회에서는 우수 농산물을 소개했고, 오미자 와인과 간식을 파는 팝업스토어도 마련됐습니다.

Mungyeong City in North Gyeongsang Province announced on 21 September that the 22nd Mungyeong Omija Festival, held for three days from 18 to 20 September at Geumcheon-dunchi in Dongno-myeon, had finished successfully. Clear weather held through the festival and about 67,000 people visited the site, a similar number to last year. Fresh omija berries sold at 15,000 won per kilogram and sugar-cured omija at 90,000 won per 10 kilograms, the same special discount prices as last year. Farm sales booths were increased from two to six to widen the chance of buying direct, and total sales came to about 840 million won. A first omija produce contest introduced the best crops, and a pop-up store selling omija wine and snacks was also set up.
