'한국: 2000년 창의의 여정' (roughly, 'Korea: A 2,000-Year Journey of Creativity'), the last overseas touring exhibition of works donated by the late Samsung Electronics chairman Lee Kun-hee, has been running at the British Museum in London since October 1 (local time) and continues until January 31 next year. A total of 100 pieces are on display, including 79 from the National Museum of Korea, 15 from the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art and 6 from the British Museum. The National Museum of Korea's pieces include 10 National Treasure entries (27 objects) and 13 Treasure entries (23 objects), among them the National Treasure bronze objects from Bisan-dong, Daegu, which are being shown for the first time. Samsung Electronics chairman Lee Jae-yong, Princess Anne of the British royal family and National Museum of Korea director 유홍준 gathered together in London. In April 2021, Lee's family donated 21,693 cultural heritage objects in 9,797 entries and 1,488 artworks, which was about 60% of all the cultural heritage the National Museum of Korea had received as donations since 1946.
